Who We Are?

Giusy, having started her career under the mentorship of Nick Belfrage MW, went on to work with some of the top fine importers in the UK, being involved with brands like Gaja, Sassicaia, Ornellaia, Giacosa, Dal Forno and many other non Italian brands.  Eventually, the call to do her own things was too strong, and Giusy is now in high demand, finding Italian wineries distributors in several markets, but focussing mainly on the UK, Australia, and the Canadian Monopolies. 

Recently, Giusy has been instrumental in raising the profile of her native Calabrian wines, and in particular the wines of Ciro, which culminated in a series of tastings and events in the UK under the umbrella of the Ciro Revolution.

She has also had some winemaking experience and has completed a vintage with a large commercial producer in Marlborough, New Zealand.  When time allows, Giusy also likes to keep her hand in teaching and training and is a certified WSET educator.  As well as completing the Wine Scholars Guild Italian course, she was the recipient of their Scholarship and is also a member of the Circle of Wine Writers, to whom she often presents.  Giusy is also completed the Consorzio Tutela Vini della Valpolicella education programme and is now an official Valpolicella Ambassador.  She has also been an approved member of AIS – Associazone Italiana Sommelier.

Giusy is also available for contract sales and brand ambassador work in all the territories she works in along with ad hoc marketing, branding and winemaking consultancy.
